Hi all, New to NASes and networking generally, a first-time Netgear customer and enthusiastic amateur. I purchased the NAS following a recommendation from my firm's IT manager. I intend to use it ...

HI all,
OK. I setup my ReadyNas Duo v2 again this morning, went through the set-up process, set-up shares etc and renamed it as 'nas-home1', everything fine. I have copied files to it, managed to access it from within my Lan (on ipad and Android phone), set up Transmission, mapped network drives etc.
For the record it's IP address is fixed at 10.1.1.3 by my router.
Just to finish off my testing I thought I would restart it - what a mistake!
Raidar detects my NAS but does not see 'nas-home1' instead it sees 'nas-BE-A0-F0' on the same IP address, and says 'click to set-up' - but I already did that!!!!
There is no option to 'browse' the device. I have hit 'rescan' and 'locate' in Raidar and the LEDs of my device flash up!
What's happened to 'nas-home1'??? Does anyone have any advice, guidance??? I'm extremely reluctant to go through the set-up process again as I have spent most of the day copying files across to the readyNAS.
PLEASE HELP! :-(
