OK, I have now resorted to the paperclip option and tried a default factory reset. This went through the motions, i eventually got the chance to enter set-up in raidar I went through set-up using a new host name, restarted to see if the problem had been fixed, and nope I'm back to square one, once again host name is displaying as 'nas-BE-A0-F0'!
The new host name is not showing and it is again asking me to set-up the device again!
I'm really getting frustrated with this. I only bought the readynas on the recommendation of a friend and was going to get a synology or qnap instead, looks like that's what i'm going to have to do!
If anyone has any advice on what this could be and how to fix it, I'd love to hear it.
