Duo v2 wipes data after power off.
I have a readynas V2 duo that every time the power dies it loses all configuration i have tried resetting it, RAIDar doesnt give me the optin to format the disks, I have also removed drives and tried...
Your disks are locked. They can be unlocked using hdparm. See e.g. https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS/ReadyNAS-nv-v2-factory-reset-after-every-restart-disks-locked/td-p/1127437
This problem typically happens if a factory reset is done and a secure erase is aborted. Doing a secure erase using RAIDar again should fix this but a secure erase can take a very long time to run.
