expansion -> started with 3tb continue with 2tb
Hi!
I am currently managing 5 NAS-disks around the office, and I have a question:
1. I started with a 3tb disk.
2. Can I take it out, and start over with 2tb disks.
3.Will I lose my data when I put the 3tb disk in next to the 2tb disks?

You would lose the data from the 3TB disk when you add it back in, so before removing the 3TB disk backup the data on it. - marwunckelfunckAspirantThank you for the clear answers. Don't think I have the willpower to start over again.
- PapaBear1ApprenticeWith one 3TB drive you have 3TB of storage although it is non-redundant. Starting over with a 2TB drive and then adding the 3TB drive, you would have redundant storage although it would only be 2TB.
