FILE NAME CHANGE
greetings,
Have had random files change their names - is quite a few
The names change to things like:
AABNH - FHGRYT - 3847645
Is this a fault with precedent?
Is there a naming convention which we are not aware of that we are not following?
Have not gone back on the off-site NTFS back up of this NAS to review files that have changed so no pattern to characters used in offending files has been identified as yet.
Any feedack would be appreciated.

Any changes to the content of the files? Or just the filenames?
Hi saahak, is antivirus running and if yes, are there any alerts?
What firmware are you running? Is the NAS open to the internet?
This sounds like malware or a hacked machine to me.
