File sharing (via internet) on Duo v1
I have a RN Duo v1 that I'd like to use to host files for access by my family. They would be downloading/uploading files via the internet. With the demise of ReadyNAS Remote, what is my best option? ...

I am happy to spend a few euros on the OwnCloud 10 add-on, but I was under the impression that PHP 7.0 or higher (which isn't available for Sparc) is required for it to work. If that isn't the case, it seems like the path of least resistance.
I have a RN102 running OS6 for my own use. I'm just trying to find a job for the DUO, rather than scrapping it.

I think it's safer to forward ports to the RN102 than it is to forward them to the older Duo. Web applications for instance will be using outdated TLS with the Duo. FWIW, my own Duo is still in service as a secondary backup for selected shares on my RN526x.

I don't use OwnCloud myself, but WhoCares_ (who runs rnxtras.com) would include the needed packages in his add-on.

Copy that.
Thanks.

To clarify: There are versions of OwnCloud that require PHP 7.0 or newer. The ownCloud add-on I provide for the ReadyNAS Duo v1 is definitely older than those - in other words it will still run with PHP 5.6. Actually I'd love to provide PHP 7.2 for the RAIDIator 4.x systems but that's really hard, time consuming work and I currently don't have that much spare time besides my normal day job. That said I'm of course willing to help with any problems that may come up when running my add-ons on the ReadyNAS (except for extremely slow performance of ownCloud on the Sparc based systems, that comes with the environment ;)).

Thank you very much! I have purchased the PHP 5.x and OwnCloud addons. I will attempt to install in a short while. I assume that the PHP package needs to be installed first, then OwnCloud. Correct?
