File Sync and offline access
Is there an app that can syncronize my documents/pics/music to my ReadyNAS automatically as well as giving me offline/anywhere access to my files? I really love how Apple's TimeMachine lets my frie...

I was just going to say that I am unfamiliar with Windows development, but separating the application as you were discussing is quite simply achieved in linux with DBUS (similar to how DCOP worked if you were exposed to that previously). It might work under windows because I know several QT4/KDE4 apps can run on Windows.
This would provide the exact solution you are seeking I believe.
And I am not sure how exciting the thought of switching frameworks to you is, but if you were to contemplate QT, you could run your apps on Windows, Mac & Linux.
Then us non-Windows users could consider your app!
Best of luck to you and look into DBUS if you get the chance to see if it is something that can make your life easier, even if you never port your apps beyond Windows.
