File version issue on ReadyNAS

Hello,

 

I have a ReadyNAS 312. OS Version 6.10.5

On Home Folders, the Snapshot is activated but I cannot see the old versions of a file or recover a file.

I tried the old versions on Windows and directly from the NAS. I have the same problem.

The network drive is connected as \\NAS IP\user folder

 

Can you help with this issue?

    Is protection enabled for each home folder on the "snapshot access" tab?

     

    Are you able to browse snapshots from the admin web ui?

        That is strange.

         

        I don't use home folders myself, so I don't have mych troubleshooting advice to offer.  What snapshot settings arre you using?  Smart snapshots or something else?

         

        Were the home folders created by the NAS itself?  Or were they transfered/restored from another system or backup?
