Thank you for the reply. I should elaborate that I have myself setup as a read/write enabled user for all shares and then there is also the actual Admin login. I've been logging in under my non admin share access but shouldn't I still have permission access to all files/folders since I am setup as read/write in all shares?
Under the CIFS tab the Default Access at the top is set to "disabled". The Advanced CIFS Permissions box is checked with Group Rights for both the File/Folder sections is set to Read/Write with Everyone Rights set to Read Only. The "Do Not Allow ACL changes to be more restrictive than this" option is not checked. Under the Advanced Options tab I did check the "Set Ownership..." and "Grant rename..." options. When I press apply the Set Ownership option becomes un-checked and I then get a message saying the changes were applied. The share folder owner is "Admin" and the share folder group is "Media". Share folder rights are all set to Read/Write.
Thank you for your assistance.
