I am creating a dedicated thread for this issue as an offshoot of this one: viewtopic.php?f=65&t=79099
I installed all RCs (1 to 3) for 6.2.1 and did not have any problems. Last night I upgraded to the final 6.2.1 release and almost immediately began experiencing local network instability and sluggishness. The router became inaccessible through its web UI, other devices on the LAN were unable to connect to the WAN, and the router had to be physically rebooted. There was more of the same this morning after the ReadyNAS automatically powered on.
Also, the links (e.g., "eth0") did not display under Network tab in 6.2.1 final.
Downgrading to RC3 restored performance. The router immediately became accessible (without rebooting) and the links showed under the Network tab. It seems as though a minor change between 6.2.1 RC3 and final might be causing this network issue, but I can't spot the discrepancy in the RC3 changelog versus the final release notes.
