First time install of ReadyNAS 316 and having a couple issues
I just received my ReadyNAS 316 and two 6 TB Western Digital Red drives. I followed the installation guide perfectly so far, but I am stumped at the moment. I turned on the unit for the first time ...
1. Syncing the disks sector by sector to setup the RAID.
2. Pressing the O.K. button is to confirm that you have physical access to the box. Once that is clicked the ReadyCLOUD account should be linked with your box.

Which firmware is the unit running?
Perhaps try again once the sync completes?Well, I never got the front panel to work, but the kind folks in tech support gave me an alternative pathway to getting things setup. I just downloaded and used RAIDar (which was nowhere in the instructions).

Did you mentioned the front panel issue you have to the support person? Because if that is a hardware problem then it needs to be addressed too.
