Fixing issue with Intermediate SSL Certificate
Runnning OS 6 on my ReadyNAS.
Went through the process of installing a SSL Cert (from CACert.org) on my server and everything is fine except when I try to use Firefox to access the admin console web interface (all other browsers work perfectly-No Errors).
When using Firefox I get the dreaded “Untrusted Connection”.
When I look at Technical Details I get the following:
*My.URL.COM* uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided.
(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)
When creating my apache2.pem cert file, I included the Key, Server Cert, Intermediate Cert and Root Cert.
What am I missing? Do I need to create “SSLCertificateChainFile” entry somewhere? It doesn’t look like frontview uses the typical sites-available / mod-available configuration directories….. Just not sure what I’ve done wrong and how to correct it!!!!
Thanks in Advance!
