Frontview not showing after add-on instal
NETGEAR RNDP600U ReadyNAS Ultra 6 Plus
RAIDiatar 4.2.26
This system has been running fine for 18 months. Today, I tried to install BZeet - the add-on seemed to work fine but now Frontview is appearing without any menu items down the left hand side. Refresh and Logout buttons are there but nothing happens when pressed.
All shares are accessible through both Windows Explorer and Mac OS Finder. Transmission and Plex Media Server are working fine, however FTP and HTTP are NOT working.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
regards
Paddy

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredDid you install the PHP add-on and the MySQL add-on first?
Do you have SSH access? - Paddy132aAspirantSorry, mdgm, no to both questions.
- vandermerweMasterYou could try deleting the addon if you can, although I suspect you can't if Frontview is not working, then doing an OS reinstall from the boot menu.
- Paddy132aAspirantmdgm - trying to back up the data prior to Tech Support mode - it may take a few days at this rate
mdgm - should I just boot in OS Reinstall mode?
vandermerwe » my trouble is that I cannot access Frontview, so that I can't delete the addon - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredAn OS Re-install will not fix this problem. It won't remove the add-on.
Next time install prerequisite add-ons first. - Paddy132aAspirantmdgm
Further to your earlier message, I have put the NAS into Tech Support mode so that you can remove the add-on.
My WAN IP address is XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
I presume that I need to put a Port Forwarding rule into my router/modem to allow you to access the NAS. Please advise.

PS I have tried to send this via PM but I'm not sure it is getting through to you - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredPMs stay in the Outbox until read.
Should be fixed now.
