FTPing files from Security DVR to ReadyNAS Duo

I just had a thought on reading my last post.
The NAS FTP log "DOES" recognise that I am trying to put this into the FTP folder. As can be seen in the log entry "/home/ftp"
This suggests that the DVR does have enough information and that the issue lies within the NAS (or within my set up...)
