This AM the supplier advised that they cannot fix the issue.
Can the community confirm this, Is the NAS unlike other servers?
As I received this reply I had just completed a test of FTP from my Laptop to the NAS. The results follow
Test 1 - Using FTP in DOS, connect to NAS (include User and Password). Do not change directory. Attempt to FTP file to NAS. Use DIR to see what folders are available at this level. Aiming to send file to FTPshare (folder).
TEST FAILED
Test 2 - Using FTP in DOS, connect to NAS (include User and Password). Change directory to FTPshare (Directory). Attempt to FTP file to NAS. Use DIR to see what folders are available at this level. Aiming to send file to FTPshare (folder).
TEST SUCCEEDED
This confirms what I aready knew I suppose. The question is, how to fix.
I’ve been discussing your FTP issue throughout the morning with the manufacturer of the MicroLite/NET DVR on skype. They have informed that the DVR cannot define which FTP folder it is sending to, this should be handled by the FTP server itself. Your FTP server on your NAS drive is not like most other FTP servers.
