FTPing files from Security DVR to ReadyNAS Duo

Sorry, but I cannot let this go. My mind is whizzing around every possibility...
Test 1 above, when I log in as FTPuser, the levels that are available to me are ADMIN and FTPshare. I can see how that would confuse an incoming FTP.
Test 2 above, I've made some permission changes. Now when I log in as admin, I can only see the admin share.
Does it then follow that, if I can somehow log into FTPuser and for NO OTHER shares except FTPshare to be visible, the FTP txn might work. Agree?
