FTPing files from Security DVR to ReadyNAS Duo

Hi Movsman, no solution to this I'm afraid.
In the end it seemed to boil down to who should fully qualify the destination of the file, the DVR or the NAS. Each expert pointed to the other.
My opinion is that it is the sender who should fully define the location, but I am certainly not an FTP expert.
So, there we are; the DVR manufacturer states that the NAS must manage the receiving location & the NAS community state it must be the DVR. Stalemate. :(
Let me know if you "know" who should deal with the destination of the file DVR or NAS. I'd be interested to know.
