    Well, your firmware is from 2010.  I don't think we can help much with 8 year old firmware.   You'd need to update to 4.2.15 before you jump to the current firmware.  You can download that from here: http://www.readynas.com/download/RAIDiator-x86/RAIDiator-x86-4.2.15  You might need a couple of other intermediate steps after that to reach 4.2.31 - hopefully mdgm-ntgr will advise on that.

     

    The best option is to back up your data, upgrade the firmware to 4.2.31.  Then do a factory default, setting up the NAS from scratch and restoring the data from the backup.  There were changes in the underlying file system since 2010 that are only available if you do the factory default (one is support for 3 TB+ disks, which was added in 4.2.16).

     

     

    If you have ssh enabled, you should first look for a full OS partition.  You should also check your disk health.
