Hi, I have seen this discussed before but the recommended solution doesn't work for me. I have a customer with a Windows 10 Home PC, was accessing her ReadyNas fine last week, she has installed updates and now she gets the above code. I have followed the instructions to change the LmCompatibilityLevel registry setting to 1 but this has not resolved the problem. Do you have any other suggestions? I have probably close to 15 ReadyNAS devices sitting on the networks I water and feed, ranging from 212's to 2120's, all running 6.9.3. Companywide that number would be much higher. All are being flagged by our security scans due to the Apache versions installed on them. The last post I saw on this was in May - does Netgear have any path to upgrade the Apache version in the near future? Is Netgear offering any solution to business users, since I know I'm not the only individual running the risk of having to find another solution?3.2KViews0likes9CommentsReadyNAS 4312 SSL Medium Strength Cipher Suites Supported
I have Several ReadyNAS 4312 Model storage devices that my Nessus Scan is detecting the device uses Medium Strength ciphers Supported. I have updated the NAS to version 6.9.4 however this did not re-mediate the issue. We had two disk failures on a RAID6 volume on our 3220, in about two days. Web gui shows volume as degraded; we extracted one drive marked as red in GUI, the other failed disk (also marked as red in gui) was let inserted and powered. I can't understand led pattern of failed disk still in place, there's no red LED in front of disk tray and blinkin pattern seems as the disk is still Ok and similar to other disk that are GREEN on web gui. Maybe i miss some of the workings of this NAS model? (i must say i'm quite new to NETGEAR professional products). So i decided to ask on this community. Thanks in advance and sorry for my englisk Regards. Andrea2.1KViews0likes5CommentsInstable SMB connection to shares
Since I upgraded to firmware 6.9.4 I have a lot of problems to have stable connections. I already mentioned iSCSI problems. but also my SMB shares are very instable. Is this a know issue of firmware 6.9.4 in combination with a RN628X. Is there a way to go back in firmware version so that I can go back to a reliable solution?1.2KViews0likes2CommentsWe Choose ReadyNAS for its Performance - DID Technology #CaseStudy
NETGEAR Business products are used around the world for small and medium businesses. The NETGEAR Business development team reaches out to our customers to understand how our products are used by end-customers. We discovered some awesome people and great uses cases to share with NETGEAR Community. DID Technology is an audiovisual, broadcasting, multimedia and IT Solutions integrator in Seine-Saint-Denis, France. The company’s three main areas are sales of products and solutions, rental of post-production equipment, and related services including telephone support, on-site interventions, maintenance contracts, etc. DID always puts customer satisfaction before anything else. Recently one of their customers Monaco-based Channel D8 was successful enough to need an exponential boost to their on-site storage for video. DID selected the ReadyNAS 4360 60 bay 4U rack-mounted NAS Storage to manage massive quantities of 4K video and production assets. “There are a number of reasons why we selected the NETGEAR ReadyNAS. We chose it primarily for its performance, particularly at the network level, as well as for the space that it saves, its excellent value for money, and last but not least for the warranty coverage and the effective NETGEAR support teams,” says Sébastien Collin, President of DID Technology. “We choose technologies that will enable our customers to be more effective in their business and become the most competitive in the market.” Download the DID and NETGEAR Case Study Did your business have a positive experience with NETGEAR Insight Management or another NETGEAR Business product? Hi all, We have a share setup on a ReadyNAS 424. We want to have a user with full R/W access to all files and subfolders, outside of the admin group. We have created a User group and added the user to that group. In the Share permissions, under Network access and File access, we have set the user and user group to have full R/W access. In addition, from Windows Explorer (logged into the share as admin), we have granted full R/W access to the user. Despite all of this, we encounter frequent Read Only issues when logged into the share as the intended R/W user - files will not save, new files cannot be created, new folders cannot be created. The issue seems to occur in subfolders only - the root folder appears to be fine. It also occurs in random folders - seemingly not all of them, as some folders do have R/W access. What am I missing?725Views0likes1CommentReadyNAS 4312 Unsupported Web Server Detection

We are interested in making an initial purchase of the ReadyNAS 4360S, but wanted to see what people are getting for transfer speeds. Does it come anywhere near saturating a 10Gb fiber or copper NIC? We'd be using the array as iSCSI storage for our Veeam backups.1.1KViews0likes3Comments
