Hard drive shelf, holder, organizer for space hard drives
Hello.
I have a lot of hard drive which are not currently in a RAID system, computer or any other device. I use these drive kind of like you would use a USB flash drive. I have a few USB docking station that allows me to quickly access the hard drive on my computer than quickly disconnect the drive. ( Side note: Using " Index your files", to index and quickly search all my databases, readynas system, spare hard drive, computers, across multiple locations)
My question is instead of just placing the hard drives in a box or on a desk, is there any device that would act to organize them like some kind of physical storage holder or shelf .
Remember those CD holder towers and various other devices, maybe something like that for hard drive.
I don't think what I'm looking for exist currently, just wondering if you guys knew of anything like that. Maybe it would be a good job for a 3D printer.

- If you want a 'shelf' you could go with this product -> http://harddriveshelf.com/. You could also look at Turtle Cases http://www.turtlecase.com/ with their Data Commander Fireproof Media Safe option. You could also repurpose a SAN enclosure so you could access each drive independently without removing it from the enclosure (much more work).
