hardrive to transfer files directly to nas w/ backup button?
i have a pro pioneer and i have a couple external drives i want to put on the nas
I connect the drives to the front port and i hit the backup button,. but does not do anything
I have the option in front view to auto copy and it shows that there is the drive attached in frontview but it doesnt work
I need ot figure out a way to transfer all my files asap

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredBy default the backup button will backup the contents of your backup share to the USB drive.
You can create and run your own backup jobs via Frontview (web-interface of the ReadyNAS). You can even program the backup button to run the backup job(s) you want it to.
