    Hello Chethan,

It does appear that you are trying to backup from the NAS to a USB hard drive and you are getting an error. Was this backup working fine before? Make sure there is no permission on the files being backup. What firmware version is the NAS running at?

      Hello Chethan,

Please make sure the backup is properly setup, please refer to this guide. Also the USB hard drive will appear as one of the shares of the NAS please check the permission setting of the USB hard drive, please check this link.
