Hello russlaw,
Please try running RAIDar as this will show you the current status of your NAS and its current firmware version.
If the firmware version starts with 5.3 then you are using a ReadyNAS OS5 which is not compatible with ReadyCloud. If it starts with 4.1, you are using ReadyNAS OS4 which is also not compatible with ReadyCloud.
ReadyCloud is only compatible with ReadyNAS OS6. ReadyNAS OS4 and OS5 units are discontinued, they use ReadyNAS Remote that is comparable to ReadyCloud.

Hi, I downloaded raidar 6.1 and ran it. And it shows firmware 4.1.7 Even though it says clearly a V2 on the bottom of my readynas.
Is this firmware updatable? Also, when I click any of the buttons like admin, or locate, it says YOUR NETGEAR STORAGE is not accesable from this computer. Check your network settings.
