Hope is not a plan... #19636384 [CLOSED]
Hello, I will try my best to remove all emotion from this post/question/plea for help :D Purchased a new ReadyNas NV+ mid-2007 and until mid-2012 it ran without an issue (save replacing one drive...

@dbott67, maxblack and mdgm - thank you for the explanations regarding the X-RAID Volume Size for my NV+ - it makes sense now.
My case is almost ready to be wrapped up. I have a few questions left for my Level 3 Tech, Aaron Tak, who has given me phenomenal service. We're still trying to figure out why this all started and why I was getting the USB Mount Failed alerts during the resync process.
But, my NAS is once again fully redundant, my music is streaming again and, Aaron showed me how to quickly back up my NAS to my Time Capsule so I didn't have any data loss during the procedure to restore the NAS.
As a side note, when I pulled up the SMART info for all four disks, it is quite obvious that Western Digital WD 1TB Green Disks should not be on the approved list for the NV+. I currently have three Greens and one Red in the unit. On the Red disk that was installed on Friday, (power on hours 17), there are zero, NO, none, nada LCC's registered, but on the one green disk that was also installed on Friday, (power on hours also 17), there are 411 LCC's (this was accurate as of Saturday morning). I will be changing out all three Green disks for Red - ASAP.
Thank you to everyone who chimed in to help.
Regards, m.
