Is this internal, external or both?
If external only, it may be some sort of firewall/port-blocking issue with the router. If both internal & external exhibit this behaviour, I'm not sure what the issue is.
I take it you're pointing WMP to the dyndns IP over http. What happens if you just use the internal IP (rather than the FQDN)?
