How long does it take to sync ready nas duo v2 1.5tb?
I have a Ready Nas Duo V2. It contained a 2 working 1.5TB drive in bay 1 and a 2TB drive in bay 2. I also have an extra external 1.5Tb drive. I decided that I needed the extra 2TB space since it was ...

You could try booting with just disk 1 in the NAS and see if you can access your data. Then backup the data. Once you have verified you have a good backup power down, put the two 1.5TB disks in and do a factory reset.
The boot menu does differ depending on which ReadyNAS you have: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how-to-tell-whether-i-have-a-duo-v1-or-duo-v2-or-nv-v1-or-nv-v2/

You can't replace disks with lower capacity ones.

So what can I do here? Can I just plug in the drive in bay 1 straight to my computer and back up files with a program like recuva and remake the raid with the two 1.5TB drives? Or is it still possible to access my data to back up with only the bay 1 drive still in it with Raidar?
Also if Its possible to do what I mentioned above, how do I go about to remaking the raid with the two 1.5TB drives? Just hit reset in the back?
