How long to copy data from NAS to USB HDD?
Does anybody know how long does it take to backup about 1TB of data from ReadyNAS to external HDD using USB port? Doing backup second, third time… is the full or incremental backup done?

- Depends on a variety of factors e.g.
1. What ReadyNAS
2. What USB HDD you're using
3. What filesystem on USB HDD
4. Have you enabled fast USB writes under System > Performance in Frontview? - 1) I dont have any NAS yet. I am planning to buy NETGEAR Duo 2 Bay Gigabit RND2000.
2) Plannig Verbatim External Hard Drive 2TB 7200rpm
3) I would prefer FAT32 or NTFS file system on external backup USB HDD - depending on the speed. If it is too much slow I chose EXT2 or EXT3.
