You can attach a USB drive to one of the USB ports and then set up a backup job using the Duo's software. I had a quick look at the manual for the Duo and setting up backups is explained quite well. I have an Ultra6 plus and older NV+ so I am not familiar with the software interface, but on my devices it is very simple to set up, either to backup entire volume or share by share.
