How to find the bios release number on readybas NVX pioneer edition
I've found several posts of people stating their bios number and looking for bios upgrades, but I haven't been able to understand how and where to find my existing bios release? (If I am not misunderstood, for the NVX, bios date is the only relevant information).
Many people stating "My current BIOS is 11/17/2008 ReadyNAS-NVX v1.3, running 4.2.30", but no clue on how to get this information.

but what is to be taken care when upgrading the bios? Any risk to loose the data on my HDD? Are file transfers interrupted if any during the bios upgrade?

Download the log zip file - you'll find it info in bios_ver.log.
If you look through the thread, you'll see that the add-on doesn't include the bios for the NVX.
Indeed I had missed this point: never had seen frontview would allow to download the logs nor the fact that NVX was not included.
Anyway to oupdate NVX bios?
Any procedure or special care to be taken when I want to use that file in order to upgrade my Ultra4 bios? Which procedure and consequences on HDD/transfers/config/...
