How to format and link my disks?
Hi, everyone. I have a ReadyNAS Duo. I've put in two identical 1-terabyte disk drives. What I want to do is to somehow link the two drives in a RAID configuration (I'm not sure whether to mirro...
I would suggest testing the drives via the manufacturer's tools if you believe the disks are okay. The NAS should be shut off at the time of removal, and after testing, if the drive comes back ok then it could be something with the chassis or firmware side.

What version of the firmware is on the Duo?
Was the drive that you took out of the skybox on the HCL for the Duo?
- I ask because the main reason many don't make the list is because they aren't compatible.
