Shares are advertised w/o respect to drive letters, so you can still see all the shares when you enter \\NASNAME in windows explorer.

The net here is that using RAID-0 to span 4 drives means that you will need to restore 4x more data than necessary (assuming single drive replacements as the norm). Yes, you can do that in about a week (assuming CrashPlan continues to operate at its current speed). But you could do it in about two days, getting everything up and running much faster.
Also, though CrashPlan is working out for me (and is very reasonably priced) I wouldn't trust it (or any cloud provider) as only only backup.
