HOW TO STREAM FROM MY READYNAS O MY LG TV
Dear Admin,
i have a readynas model 3130 configured and working very well in my office. i newly bought 4 LG smart TV That supports DLNA, i assigned ip address to the 4 LG tv and was connected to the same network as my ReadyNas.
i want to be able to stream videos from my readynas to my LG TV but i dont no how.
please, kindly tell me what to do and how to do it.
Then the next step is to create plex libraries that include the folders that hold the media.
Plex has some getting-started guides here: https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200264746-Quick-Start-Step-by-Step-Guides

There is a guide for ReadyDLNA here: https://kb.netgear.com/23069/What-is-the-ReadyDLNA-streaming-service-and-how-do-I-enable-it-on-my-ReadyNAS-OS-6-storage-system
You could also install plex - many smart TV's have a plex client. https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/204080173-Which-Smart-TV-models-are-supported-

You need the plex server, not plex media.
Is your NAS running 4.2 firmware If so, the simplest option is to install Plex Server on the PC, then map the ReadyNAS media shares to that that PC (so they have a drive letter). Then you'd create the plex libraries, etc on the PC.
If you are running OS 6, then you could directly install the plex server on the ReadyNAS.
