I can't get windows share to work

I'm not sure, it can be some corrupt software or just some bad stuff happened when you created those users (maybe in a update process or sumtin).
Try recreating and see if the userlist exports differently. Or rather, create new users while the old ones are there, and try to export the list again to see if there are any difference.
