Insanely slow copying 106GB from Mac Mini to NV+

OK, I tried your solution, and loaded the latest beta. I try to access an AFP share, and immediately am greeted by this message:
"Something wrong with the volume's CNID DB, using temporary CNID DB instead. Check server messages for details. Switching to read-only mode."
I logged into FrontView. I don't see any "server messages". Nothing in the log display after "System is Up".
(And mdgm, I appreciate your comments. Rather disheartening that Netgear sets up this forum and doesn't bother to address problems raised in it, but I can't say that I'm surprised.)
