Install Duplicity on Ultra (x86)?
I have just ordered (waiting for delivery) of an Ultra 2.
My ideal plan is to rync backup from my mac to the readynas and then backup to Amazon S3 from the NAS. I would like to use duplicity for this part of the process due to the files being encrypted before being transferred to S3.
I have seen a number of good articles (for example http://www.davidstephens.co.uk/2011/07/16/how-to-install-duplicity-on-a-netgear-readynas-duo/) on how to do this for the sparc platform but nothing specific for x86 processors.
Does anybody have any advice / suggestions / guides / amendment to David Stephens guide to get this installed?
Thanks in advance.

- jck_co_imAspirantsearch for "readynasxtras python", you'll be able to get python as an x86 add-on, installed with out command lines.
Enabling root SSH, using command lines with Putty via your windows pc, will mean Netgear may deny support.
