Install Java JRE on ReadyNas 214?
is it possible to install Java 8 on my ReadyNas 214? If so how..
I wish to install Ubooquity - Ebook server, similar to Plex.
Is it a matter of installing the x86 Linux installation, mentioned here in the installation guide for the web server?:

They have specific installations for other NAS, but nothing specific for ReadyNAS

You can't use the x86 linux install, since you have an arm-based NAS (not intel).
Did you try apt-get install openjdk-8-jre-headless ?
You'll likely need to live with Java 7 if that doesn't install.
