  • Thanks heaps for your reply.

I am able to connect to my AFP shares without any problems. I'd like to create a NFS share, but I'm unfamiliar with the settings when I se this up.

I connect to my AFP shares via afp://192.168.103.100

If I create an NFS share (Called 'FCPX') and access it via nfs://192.168.103.100/FCPX
Then I receive the following error :

There was a problem connecting to the server "192.168.103.100"
you do not have permission to access this server.

Are you able to point me to any more info?
    Cheers

Have you checked to see if the UID and GID you use on your Mac match the UID and GID of a user on the NAS?
  • Thanks mdgm. No, I hadn't checked that! I will google how to do that now :)
