So I have turned off CHAP and Disk Spindown, I then restarted the NAS and the iScsi Service.
I copied over 29GB of data spread across loads of small files, transfer rate was terrible to start with <1MB/s but over a period of 20 minutes slowly rose to a max of 10.04 MB/s. Several times I noticed the copy hang for 2-3 minutes on a random file (less than 5Mb) and I thought it was going to crash but then it would start again. At max speed the NIC was bouncing around and hitting around 25% max, read disk (Server) was about 30-40% active and write disk (NAS) pinned at 100%. Is this normal performance?
