iSCSI vs VMware ESXi
dear all,
I'm wondering what is the best LUN architecture between an ESXi host and iSCSI storage. Which one of the following possibilities is the 'best of art':
- a datastore is linked to a single iSCSI target which handles a 'big' lun
- a datastore is linked to a single iSCSI target which handles several luns
- several datastores are linked to several iSCSI targets which handles a lun for each
- several datastores are linked to several iSCSI targets which handles severals luns each
How should the expansion be handle: create another lun or use the expand button?
thks for your help
