iTunes and Firefly

I'm using iTunes to play my music collection and I wanted to use Firefly to play it from my ReadyNAS instead of having it locally on each of my pc's.

So I copied everything to my NAS and Firefly finds them. When I'm at home, iTunes automatically finds the server and I can play the music. So far, everything goes well..

However, the only way i could make playlists was by using the smart playlist thingy on the Firefly server while I would like to make them using iTunes (just drag and drop like with local iTunes playlists). Is this possible and if so, how?

The other question I have is more iTunes related I guess. But I would like to know how I can listen to the music on my NAS from a remote location. I can use this java program called FireFly Client to play my music shared by the FireFly server so I've set up my router correctly. But I don't really like the software, so I would like to be able to use iTunes for this. Again, is this possible and if so, how?
