Itunes server setup on NAS Ultra plus
Hi
I can't seem to get the right protocol in the "music folder" field in the firefly config window: the default folder firefly gives you is /c/media/Music ....but my NAS server name and file path is Yserver/media/Music..."Y server" being known as Y: across my network
Any tips on how to present this file path in the firefly config window would be gratefully received!
PS Itunes server shows in Itunes on all PC's/Macs but I just can't get the I tunes server to point to the right directory/folder to populate it

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThe path is the path locally on the NAS, not the path your PC uses to connect to the NAS.
What network path is Y: mapped to?
Default path for Firefly on the ReadyNAS is /c/media/Music indicates C volume, media share, Music folder in media share. If your Music is stored in e.g. \\ip.address.of.nas\media\Music then the default path would be correct. - gearjunkie1AspirantThanks...finally got back to it...very simple problem - just needed to enable http/s read/write for the share...pretty dumb really on my part!
