Jumbo Frames Packet needs to be fragmented

You're absolutely right. A new NAS might work, might not. But this NAS has jumbo frames. Hopefully this doesn't meant that jumbo frames never worked correctly on the readynas nv. I do have a new netgear gs105 unmanaged switch between them. I am getting 80+ mb/sec between my main computer and another one on the same network which has a Dlink router in addition to the gs105 between them. So jumbo frames are indeed working correctly on the network.
