Legacy ReadyNas NV+ RND4250 - Kernel Panic

It sounds like something in the OS on the drives is corrupt. If you care about the content of the files, then try an OS re-install per this article: How-do-I-access-the-boot-menu-on-my-ReadyNAS-Duo-NV-NV-X6-or-600 . If you don't care about the files, a full factory default is probably a good plan so as to insure there are no other corrupt files on it. Both of these will also reset your admin password to the default (netgear1 in your case), which you may also need after a long period of non-use if you forgot it.
Note that if you are using Windows10 to access it and you haven't used any SMB1 device such as the NAS in a long time, you will probably have to turn that back on using the "Turn Windows features on and off" control panel.
