Lifesupp and not protected errors
Hi folks,
Any help would be appreciated. I have 2 seagate 3TB drives in my readynas and am geting errors on one of them the past while.
I get Volume C Not Protected and also Lifesupp errors.
I have contacted SeaGate and they suggested running seatools to see if the drive is defective but after running a long test on both drives they passed.
Any suggestions on what to do next? The problem is that when I boot up the readynas I get locked out of the dashboard as it's in lifesup and can't use the nas at all.
Cheers

Contact support (see the Online Submission link in my sig). - crookesaAspirantI have 2 installed at the moment, Barracuda 3TB: ST33000651AS and ST3000DM001 and it's the ST3000DM001 one causing the problems.
I've had to take it out and leave the bay empty to be able to use the NAS Server for a long time.
Is it Netgear Support I should log this with? Thanks for the reply - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYes, contact NetGear support.
