It's funny you should mention it, but I was considering buying a cheap Android tablet as a replacement for the Touch, but the lack of an Ethernet connector put me off that idea (I should mention that by choice, I operate wired-only) - that and the lack of a coax or optical audio out. The attraction of the Wandboard solution is that it has Gigabit Ethernet and is designed to have quality sound, with optical and coax audio outputs. So, if it turns out to be too slow running LMS, I can add a touchscreen and forget LMS altogether. I don't use the multiplayer functionalities anyway. The Touch was acquired basically as a way of playing music through the living-room stereo without using a PC.
