Thanks for the advise. I did get in touch with tech support to go ahead with the telnet session. And he gets back to me that my port 23 is closed and that I need to open it up. I know that port 23 is used by FTP, I think, so I asked him how I could do this and he tells me to contact my router manufacturer. Hmmm... some tech support. I figured I'd get better info via the forum. So can you please help me out?
My ReadNAS is already in Telnet Mode and the display says "DebugMode[510960]. I also can't access it from my laptop. To open port 23, do I need to enable FTP via Frontview? If so, I guess I have to do a normal reboot of the ReadyNAS. Am I correct in my assessment?
