Mac Permissions and Connection Issue

HI there,

I have a Ready Nas Duo and I am having connection and permission issues from my Mac. Everything works fine from a Windows Machine but not from a Mac.

According to this post:
http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/20901/~/accessing-the-readynas-from-os-x
My Shares should show up in Finder, however, they do not and I have to go to Finder --> Go --> Connect to Server everytime I want to connect to my shares. And then if I close that Finder window I have to Eject the Ready Nas share from finder to re-connect again. Is this normal?

Also when I am connected I cannot create new files that are in new folders. For example it will allow me to create a new folder and name it but when I go into that folder I have no permissions to create / copy files to it. This only seems to happen on Mac and not in Windows. I have CIFS and AFP enabled with "Allow Guest Access" on both.

Does anyone have a suggestion for these issues?

Thank you
Tyson
