mounting a MacOS share on readynas
I am trying via SSH to mount a shared thunderbolt drive attached to my Mac to my ReadyNAS. I am running my Macbook on Sierra and the latest OS6 on my ReadyNas I can access this drive via Windows...

mdgm-ntgrI did check that one and if your are already sharing on Windows are per my opening statement this is indeed turned on. Apparently it all has to do with the parameters one puts in the mount command. I managed to get it solved. For those who will need it after me hereby the command
mount.cifs {Target Server} {local mount point} -o user=myusername,password=mypassword,nounix,sec=ntlmssp,noperm,rw

Make sure you are using the correct credentials. Also make sure that Windows File Sharing is turned on on your Mac.
