Moving files between shares
I'm moving files around on my ready nas, having setup backup jobs to copy all my data from an external USB drive to my shares. Problem is, it's shockingly slow, taking hours to move folders of a few...

I did 60 min ago with similar way.
I mapped new network drive in W7 (for NAS). I should use admin username and password and then ….I tested.
As you wrote, moving files within NAS (same Volume, I have JBOD configuration and only one HDD) from one share to other one happened immediately. Great!
And you can use 2 explorer windows (one with current file destination and other one with new destination, then only drug and drop ...and it is)
