Did you last factory default (wipes all data, settings, everything) on 6.1.9 or older firmware?

If so, then it sounds like a one-off snapshot upgrade didn't take place. We can easily force this to take place.

Can you send in your logs (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?

I moved all of the data from the drive to a cloud site and then reset the ReadyNAS to factory default settings.  I then reinitiated the drive and am moving data back onto the drive.  I assume by restarting the device from factory defaults that I fixed the bug.  Please let me know if I need to take any additional steps to fix the bug.
